Hey, I’m Jessica!
I am originally from Chester, Nova Scotia. I recently graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science degree – majoring in Psychology and minoring in Chemistry. Following the completion of my degree, I moved back to Chester to help care for my grandmother, who needed a home caregiver Monday-Friday.
After providing homecare to my nan for a year and half, I’ve realized that helping people is something that I love to do, and I want to continue working in the homecare field. Some things that we’ve enjoyed doing together are enjoying our morning coffee, playing skip-bo, and going on mini-road trips around the province.
I enjoy travelling, road trips, baking, playing cards and games, going for walks, and playing music. I play guitar, piano and I also sing – which I hope to implement in my caregiving with other music lovers. I love to travel, especially to places with nice views and scenery! I am always up for an outdoor adventure, or a cozy afternoon inside.
