Hi I'm Jack!
I'm a first year nursing student originally from Mahone bay, NS. I have worked in the healthcare field for over a year now, and it is my passion to make people's lives better and happier! I have been giving homecare to my grandmother for a couple years now, while also working at a nursing home as well. I fell in love with healthcare at a young age as i always wanted to be a nurse, and i know it is the thing I love most!
I am a baseball fanatic, I've been playing at a high level for the greater part of my life, in the last semester i was playing baseball in college at miles community college in Miles City, Montana. I have also been coaching at a variety of age groups. Along with coaching some higher level programs, i have also coached a variety of programs for children and young teens with Autism and Down syndrome to help everyone get an equal chance to love the sport and enjoy it, just like me!
My goal is to help everyone get an equal chance at both happiness in life, as well as equal opportunities. No one should be held to a barrier because of labels society puts on people! I have struggled through ADHD throughout my life and been labeled as a kid who would never do anything, but i have fought those labels and started to become what I have always dreamed of being. I hope i can help inspire children like me, as well as help them have dreams and goals as big as the moon!
I have experience ranging from Dementia, Down syndrome, Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities (amputees, paralysis, and other forms of disabilities that require assistance) many forms of mental illness (severe depression, anxiety and other forms of illness) and I am trained and ready to help anyone who needs assistance!
