You need to have at least some experience providing personal care to someone. If you haven't worked in the care industry but you've spent significant time providing care for a family member we'll certainly consider that experience too

Yes. Our Caregivers sometimes take clients out on short outings as part of the service and therefore you need your own reliable transport and sufficient insurance coverage

No we currently don't hire caregivers without work authorisation in Canada. You need to be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have an Open Work Permit.

Currently we are hiring Caregivers in South Shore and HRM areas of Nova Scotia

It varies. We are continually accepting new clients and therefore the available shifts are always changing. Shifts range from 2 hours to 8+ hours in length. Most shifts are day-time but occasionally we work overnight shifts. When you apply let us know what you're looking for and when you're available

We provide care in client's homes for all ages of clients. Most of our clients are seniors who want to age at home but we also provide Respite care for children and adults with disabilities. You would be matched with one or more clients based on your level of experience and training

Our Caregivers work very independently in clients homes without supervision. Therefore you need to already have training/experience in providing personal care, first aid etc. The role isn't suitable for someone who isn't comfortable working without supervision. However we provide training opportunities for improving your skills in specialist areas

If we invite you to an interview we will send you a link where you can schedule your own interview date and time from the available slots.

The first interview is normally a video/online interview using Google Meet. Sometimes we will schedule second interviews in addition. If you are selected we will then check your references and ask you to obtain any necessary police or vulnerable sector checks if you don't already have these.
